a powerful cadenza , mellifluous melody unfurled from her chest came to it’s close and she radiant with mirth. her heart & soul embarked in flight ! music filled her with such felicity , such freedom ; but to receive critical acclaim form a prima donna whom she held much reverence for only dusted porcelain skin with vermillion upon the apples of her cheeks. bashful & effervescent , ivories peering past plump lips and eyes averted to the floor of shuffling feet. it was very true that she was no stranger to praise , to thunderous applause following every aria in which she performed , lips eagerly pouring adoration / doting suitors with there gifts and pleas of her attention , which she was not in the slightest fond of madame giry often took care of such matters. ( the siren with no mal intent , the seraph amongst mortals with her canorous chimes )
bending down in a bow , the proper way to end such ; a silent appreciative notion and respectful of course ! ingénue rises her look , doe eyes wonder - awed & her insides akin to bubbling champagne from such excitement , from such feeling ! ❛ oh madame mag you are much too kind to me ❜ giggle laces sanguine syllables , saccharine and juvenescent , fingers intwine together before her : properly , decorous for after all she is still a very prestigious soprano with a song powerful and majestic , you mustn’t act inane christine ! a quick clear of the throat to remedy yet the smile is terrible plastered , not something she can quite easily dismiss ( to her dismay , oh she must look terribly foolish , terribly childish )

this is an independent, private & canon divergent blog for BLIND MAG from the film REPO ! The genetic opera. my interpretation is mainly CANON DIVERGENT & based off the film, deleted content & some bits from the stageplay !
FORMAT
i use small text & icons with my writing. you do not have to do the same, but I may change your text size when i reply so i retain a bit of continuity on my blog. overall, i don’t care if you have beautiful icons. i look for quality, not quantity. you could have the nicest formatting & icons, but still be a shitty writer. ALSO —— i’m ok with purple prose writers, but i personally am not comfortable writing it myself. i’m a former magazine journalist, & while my vocab is vast, i can’t write something that beautiful. so do forgive me if i respond to your reply in my regular format. kudos to you if you can purple prose ! you are gifted, but it’s just not for me :3
BASICS
please do not god mod, though this should be pretty common etiquette. if you force my character to do something or force them into a situation of any sort, i will issue a warning. any further offenses will result in a block. i enjoy having pre-established relationships with other characters, as it allows for jumping into the writing faster. however, if your character is not from REPO, we should discuss how our characters know one another before writing together ! it’s not a requirement, but it can make things easier !
i don’t mind having MAINS when it comes to certain characters, but EXCLUSIVITY is something i’d rather not do, as I don’t want to barr myself from other writers. if we write well & often, we can be MAINS & you’ll be the first one I come to with plots & things !
SHIPS
i ship CHEMISTRY & can be very picky when it comes to ships in general. i will do my best to approach you if I think there’s potential for a ship, & likewise you can do the same with me. PLEASE NOTE: just because you play someone from the REPO universe does not mean I will automatically ship with you. i still need chemistry to be there before we go forward. & as always, I don’t just ship romantically. i love writing enemies, past lovers, family, friends & the like !

MAGDALENE DEFOE WAS BORN BLIND on july 5th, 2017. never allowing her disability deter her from her passion of singing, mag would study & become one of the world’s leading & profound soprano’s at such a young age. Before her claim to fame however, she was best friends with marni, who supported her at every step & knew she had the talent to achieve her dream. Engaged to the founder / owner of GENECO, rotti largo, marni convinced him to authorize a surgery that would allow mag the ability to see. on March 21st, 2040, mag received her surgery at the age of 23, finally being able to see for the first time in her life. however, there was a fine line that she didn’t read in her contract. in exchange for sight, mag must only sing for GENECO —— become a SLAVE to the company & do as rotti wished.
now & forever, she was destined to only serve ONE.
WHEN MARNI MARRIED NATHAN & GOT PREGNANT, she named mag as her unborn daughter’s godmother, which she happily accepted. before her untimely passing, marni asked mag to be apart of shiloh’s life, as she wanted her friend to be apart of her new family & perhaps have mag bond with her child. unknowing that her only friend would soon leave this earth, she happily took that vow. mag would never know heartache more painful than marni’s passing, devastated to hear from nathan that shiloh passed as well. with no reason for her to stay, mag would continue her newfound diva life, performing for GENECO with a smile on her face while slowly suffering behind the curtain. was the ability to see truly worth this cursed life if her best friend & her unborn daughter were no longer among their world ?
